Epi-yakınsaklık

Abstract

This thesis consists of five chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the introduction. The second chapter includes main definitions and theorems that are necessary for the rest of the paper. In the third chapter, classical convergence types are introduced and the relation of those with epi-convergence is given. Moreover, it is discussed with examples that in which conditions classical convergence types imply epi-convergence. The fourth chapter is totally devoted to epi-convergence and epigraph of the functions and they are explained in detail. In the last chapter namely chapter five, set convergence is introduced and its relation with epi-convergence and epigraph of the functions is discussed.

Bu çalışma, beş ana bölümden oluşmaktadır.Birinci bölüm, giriş kısmı için ayrılmıştır.İkinci bölümde, çalışma için gerekli kavramların tanımları ve bazı teoremler verilmiştir.Üçüncü bölümde, klasik yakınsaklık kavramları verilmiş, bu yakınsaklık çeşitlerinin birbirleri ile ve epi-yakınsaklık ile olan ilişkileri verilmiş, bu yakınsaklık türlerinin hangi şartlar altında epi-yakınsaklık ile örtüşeceği örneklerle anlatılmıştır.Dördüncü bölümde, tamamen epi-yakınsaklık ve epigraflar hakkında detaylı bilgiler verilmiştir.Beşinci bölümde ise, küme yakınsaklığı üzerinde durulmuş ve bu bölümün en son kısmında da epi-yakınsaklık ve epigraflar ile küme yakınsaklığı arasındaki ilişki verilmiştir.
