Vilayet sâlnâmeleri, Osmanlı Devleti'nin 19. yüzyılın ikinci yarısı ile 20. yüzyılın başlarında neşredilmiş yıllıklardır. Yerel tarih açısından önemi büyük olan bu yıllıklar, sosyo-ekonomik yapı ile vilayet ve bağlı birimlerin kurumsal yapısı hakkında detaylı bilgiler içermektedir.Bu çalışma, Afyonkarahisâr'ın Hüdâvendigâr Vilayeti sâlnâmelerine göre 1869 ile 1907 yılları arasındaki dönemini kapsamaktadır.
