Afyonkarahisar Efsaneleri Üzerine

Abstract

I had studied Afyon’s legends in my edition “101 Anadolu Efsanesi”, in my presentation titled “Afyonkarahisar Efsanelerinde Bazı Motifler” and in my essay named “Afyonkarahisar’da Efsanelerie Yaşamak”. In this subject I reviewed Irfan Nasrattinoğiu’s book called “Afyonkarahisar Efsaneleri”, Mehmet Aydın’s presentation in the previous symposium titled “Efsane” and in addition to them I also reviewed the articles and works of the authors like H. Fikri Yazıcıoğlu, Hikmet Tanyu, Mehmet Onder, Mehmet Saffet Devrim. I also examined student’s essays on Afyon’s legends. At the end, I realized that our province Afyon is something full of legends. In this article, our rnain goal is on the legends narrated on Gedik Ahmet Paşa of Afyonkarahisar and comparing the similar ones both in Anatoiia and Balcans. İn this legend that was built on “Camii-hamam ikilisi” is something more than a story, that is, it notices the unity of origin. Moreover the thought and point of view in the foundations of legends confirms it.
