Abstract

Our study consists of the translation and systematic classification of the ghazal collection Mecmua-i Gazeliyat, which is located in Istanbul University Rare Works Library (NEKTY03802) with the local location number. Mecmua-i Gazeliyat is a collection of selected poems. It is not known by whom this 112 volume collection was compiled and when it was compiled is also unknown. Mecmua is important for Turkish literature as it contains poems not included in divans and poems of poets without divans. Our study is divided into three main sections, excluding the introduction and conclusion. In the introduction, general information about the mecmuas is given. In the first chapter, Mecmua-i Gazeliyat is introduced. In the second part, the mecmua containing ghazals of Classical Turkish literature artists living in the 15th and 16th centuries such as Necâtî, Zâtî, Üsküplü İshak Çelebi, Hayretî, Mesîhî, Âhî, Revânî, Şemʿî, ʿAmrî, Kâdirî, Nihânî, Ahmed-i Dâʿi, Nesîmî, Emrî, Bâkî, Şeyhî, Yahya Bey (Taşlıcalı) and Saʿdî is compared with the divans and transliterated. In the third section, the ghazals and other poems in the collection are classified within the scope of the Systematic Classification of Poetry Collections Project (MESTAP). In the conclusion, the results and the gazelles and couplets that are included in Mecmua-i Gazeliyat but are not found in the divans are stated

Çalışmamız İstanbul Üniversitesi Nadir Eserler Kütüphanesinde (NEKTY03802) yerel yer numarasıyla bulunan Mecmua-i Gazeliyat isimli gazel mecmuasının çeviri yazı harflerine aktarımı ve sistematik tasnifinden oluşmaktadır. Mecmua-i Gazeliyat, seçme şiirlerden meydana getirilmiş bir mecmuadır. Birinci bölümde Mecmua-i Gazeliyat’ın tanıtımı yapılmıştır. İkinci bölümde Necâtî, Zâtî, Üsküplü İshak Çelebi, Hayretî, Mesîhî, Âhî, Revânî, Şemʿî, ʿAmrî, Kâdirî, Nihânî, Ahmed-i Dâʿi, Nesîmî, Emrî, Bâkî, Şeyhî, Yahya Bey (Taşlıcalı) ve Saʿdî gibi 15-16. yüzyıllarda yaşayan Klasik Türk edebiyatı sanatçılarının gazellerinin bulunduğu mecmua; divanlarla kıyaslanarak çeviri yazı harfleriyle yer almıştır. Üçüncü bölümde mecmuada yer alan gazeller ve diğer şiirler Mecmualarının Sistematik Tasnifi Projesi (MESTAP) kapsamında sınıflandırılmıştır. Sonuç kısmındaysa ulaşılan sonuçlarla Mecmua-i Gazeliyat’ta yer aldığı halde divanlarda bulunmayan gazel ve beyitler belirtilmiştir.
