Necil Kazım Akses’in 50. Yıl Marşı’nın prozodi bağlamında incelenmesi

Abstract

In order to compose songs verbal song, it requires a good knowledge of the rules and music of the language in which it is written, as well as having sufficient knowledge in the field of composition. It is accepted by everyone that syllables, words, sentences in a text should be composed by considering the natural dynamics, aesthetics and accents of musical art. Each language has its own different music and accents. This review was carried out in accordance with the prosody rules of Turkish. Stress is one of the most basic parameters of both music and speech. For this reason, the emphasis in language and music is a priority in the study. For this reason, the weight in the article is high. As another important parameter apart from the emphasis, the rhythm, that is, the duration element, in the natural pronunciation of the words has been tried to be examined. After the explanation of these issues, the 50th Anniversary March, which has a very important place among Turkish anthems, written by Bekir Sıtkı Erdoğan and composed by the state artist Necil Kazım Akses, was examined in terms of sound and word accordance. The most important reason for choosing the 50th Anniversary March for this study is that it is thought to be one of the most accurate Turkish anthems ever written on prosody. While examining the emphasis in the 50th Anniversary march and its lyrics, it was tried to make the subject more understandable by making use of musical notations and it was desired to create a different writing-narration style for the subject of prosody.
