Abstract

Il volume è l'edizione rivista e ridotta del più ampio manuale Musei edito nella collana Tecnotipo nel 2007, e raccoglie sedici casi studio di musei considerati virtuosi per la corrispondenza dell'edificio al proprio scopo, considerabili come "classici" dell'architettura contemporanea. Nello stesso tempo, la scelta presenta anche un ventaglio articolato di situazioni sia riguardo alla classificazione delle collezioni ospitate, sia riguardo al tipo di intervento e al contesto urbano di riferimento.
