Abstract

«¿Qué podemos decir hoy del superhombre a la luz del estudio crítico de los textos de Nietzsche y de sus fuentes de lectura? Si su perfil sigue siendo en gran parte indeterminado , ¿se ha de desechar sin más, en la visión del filósofo alemán, la hipótesis del superhombre como etapa concreta – y por tanto, en un cierto sentido biológica y “evolutiva” – de una humanidad renovada o tal vez “otra” que la actual?». El primero de los ensayos de este libro intenta responder estas preguntas reconstruyendo el escenario cultural y las ideas en boga en la época en que se gestó uno des los filosofemas más controvertidos y peor comprendidos del autor de Zarathustra. El segundo ensayo se centra el la figura de Alfred Fouillée (1838-1912), intérprete polémico del Nietzsche, a quién este estudió atentamente, llevado por un desacuerdo tan neto con lo central de sus doctrinas, que puede decirse que éstas representan un precipitado ejemplar de todo cuanto Nietzsche rechaza en materia de moral y de evolución. Ambos trabajos, resultados de una prolongada y fina indagación de la obra del filósofo alemán y sus fuentes, contribuyen a renovar su lectura expurgada de simplificaciones e hipotecas ideológicas.
