Ceramica attica a figure nere, ceramica sovradipinta e ceramica a vernice nera

Abstract

Il contributo presenta i risultati dello studio di un piccolo lotto di ceramiche fini da mensa rinvenute in uno scavo urbano condotto nell'area del Gianicolo. Oltre ad un frammento di importazione attica probabilmente riferibile alla frequentazione più antica dell’area, i materiali studiati sono riferibili soprattutto a produzioni attestate nel III secolo a.C. e, in percentuale minore, al II e al I secolo a.C. Un cospicuo numero di vasi può essere ricondotto, per il suo repertorio morfologico e le caratteristiche tecniche, al Gruppo dei Piccoli Stampigli, attestato con materiali riferibili sia ad officina romana sia ad altre produzioni regionali. Si segnala inoltre un frammento di pocolom. Ridotto è il numero di materiali riconducibili alla Romana E, produzione da ricondurre ad officine romane attive nella prima metà del II secolo a.C. e al Tipo Romano D, produzione tipica dell’ambito romano della fine del II e la prima metà del I secolo a.C., attestata con coppe Morel 2653. Due esemplari sono attribuibili a vasi con H sovradipinta, prodotti in varie officine di area etrusco-laziale nella seconda metà del III secolo a.C. e spesso rinvenuti, qualora se ne conosca la provenienza, in ambito cultuale. Un consistente lotto di materiali può essere ricondotto a campane B di area romana e, in misura minore, di tipo etrusco.
