La mano (e la mente) dell'autore. Nuove prospettive per la Filologia d'autore

Abstract

La tradizione letteraria italiana condivide con quella spagnola una ricchezza di manoscritti genetici d’autore imparagonabile a quella di altre tradizioni europee, ed è per questo che la filologia d’autore, disciplina fondata da Dante Isella, ma che risale a una pratica ecdotica risalente al xvii secolo, può essere applicata fruttuosamente anche sui manoscritti del Siglo de Oro, come recentemente è stato mostrato sulla Dama boba. Nel contributo si presenta la storia e il metodo peculiare della disciplina, nei suoi rapporti con la filologia ispanica, la critica delle varianti e la critica genetica, e se ne delineano le prospettive di sviluppo, in particolar modo quelle legate alle nuove tecnologie digitali, dalla spettrometria all’authorship, all’applicazione dell’IA allo studio, anche comparativo, delle correzioni d’autore.
