A total of 774 samples of grey gurnard, Chelidonichthys gurnardus were collected in the Northern-Middle Adriatic Sea by bottom trawl surveys (GRUND 2007-MEDITS 2008). The stomach content have been analyzed to determine diet according to fish size, sex, depth and season. The results show that crustaceans (%N°=93.5; %W=67.7) are the basic food, (particularly Decapoda) and that teleostean fishes are quite important in the adult diet (particularly Callionymus sp., Gobius niger).
