A total of 1.114 specimens of Chelidonichthys lucernus (tub gurnard) were collected in the Northern-Middle Adriatic sea during trawl surveys carried out between May 2005 and March 2007. Length-frequency distribution, length at first sexual maturity, spawning season, stomachs contents were investigated.
