I present a virtual reconstruction of the ancient Santa Anastasia city through the support of ancient sources, images, plans and photos. The project includes the reconstruction of the historic old town of Motta S. Anastasia and the simulation of the village and the ancient defensive path of the stronghold in medieval times. For the representation of the present historical center, a reconstruction method has been chosen that summarizes its essential forms, placing greatest interest in the virtual simulation of the Mother Church (Chiesa Madre), Tower and Walls (Cinta Muraria). The reconstruction of the curtain wall was made with reference to the information and drawings found and to the only still existing stretch of the wall. This reconstruction is the prototype of a larger project that sees the virtual reproduction of the main medieval sites and the Giudecche (Jewish settlements) of Sicily.
