Multilinguismo e comunicazione in rete

Abstract

Attraverso la lingua, è ormai generalmente accettato, ha luogo la trasmissione di una pluralità di tradizioni, che contribuisce alla realizzazione e alla conservazione di parametri socialmente definiti e porta ad un’interiorizzazione di vari schemi motivazionali ed interpretativi come istituzionalmente definiti. La particolare situazione di lingue e culture in contatto che oggi si verifica è alla base di nuovi processi comunicativi. Quale contributo può essere fornito dal computer come strumento di informazione e di comunicazione al fine di un superamento delle barriere e degli ostacoli che sorgono nel processo di interpretazione del messaggio dell'"altro" a livello sia linguistico sia culturale? Quale rapporto si crea fra la comunicazione in rete e la situazione di multilinguismo che caratterizza il nostro vivere sociale? Questi interrogativi sono stati affrontati in una riflessione volta ad illuminare i processi in atto in una pluralità di aspetti e situazioni prendendo in esame diversi contesti internazionali .
