Abstract

This book discusses ethics in Public Service Interpreting, showing how ethics is situated dischonrically and synchronically in modern society and in the professions, how core tenets appear in codes of ethics and how these are internationally represented across sectors of application. It discusses concrete situations of ethical dilemmas that interpreters may face and discusses solutions to these dilemmas.
