I libri armeni della Biblioteca Palatina di Parma

Abstract

Il contributo descrive il patrimonio di libri a stampa armeni posseduti dalla Biblioteca Palatina di Parma e ne presenta il catalogo ("I libri armeni a stampa della Biblioteca Palatina di Parma", Parma 2013), illustrandone genesi, metodo e struttura. I volumi armeni, dove figurano i più svariati argomenti, dalla filologia alla tecnica, dalla teologia all'algebra, sono rilevanti sia per il loro numero (170) sia per il loro valore; appartennero in gran parte al duca di Lucca Carlo Ludovico, che si trasferì a Parma con la sua biblioteca quando ereditò il trono di Maria Luigia, nel 1847. I restanti testi sono invece legati alle figure di Giambattista Bodoni e a Giovanni Bernardo De Rossi.
