Abstract

Originale e importante COMMENTO SCIENTIFICO (o EDIZIONE SCIENTIFICA), di contenuto storico-letterario, filologico, critico e stilistico, che illustra tanto l'intertestualità quanto l'influenza in tutte le letterature europee del Canzoniere di Petrarca. L'opera dà largo spazio critico al testo, alle varianti d'autore, alle varie redazioni dell'opera e alle forme linguistiche dei Rerum vulgarium fragmenta, tanto nell'ampia Introduzione quanto nel commento e soprattutto nelle innovative letture critiche inframezzate ai testi, tutte composte dall'autrice: si può quindi considerare come un'opera di alto valore scientifico e testuale. Ne risulta un testo completamente rinnovato rispetto a un tradizionale commento scientifico al Canzoniere di Petrarca. Si segnala in particolare che l'intera opera è preceduta da una lunga introduzione dell'autrice (pp. 7-92) e che l'originalità del lavoro è testimoniata anche dalla partizione del Canzoniere in sezioni, ciascuna commentata autonomamente dal curatore. Al commento a piè di pagina ha collaborato, sotto la cura di Paola Vecchi, il suo allievo Stefano Cremonini (per le sole annotazioni da RVF 202 a 366). Dell'opera è stata pubblicata anche una ristampa (2013).
