Abstract

Starting from the reflection that has recently circulated among Scholars on the sporadic application of authorial philology to the seventeenth-century area, the “historical” reasons are identified with the help of Giovanni Pozzi and Carlo Dionisotti, while the turning point of the last 25 years of a rich season of Marinian philology sub specie figurativa is verified, with particular reference to the Galeria.
