Abstract

In materia di letteratura sarda, il volume raccoglie il meglio della produzione saggistica di Giovanni Pirodda e dà conto della sua rara capacità di coniugare la sintetica visione d’insieme ‒ capace di ardite tessiture diacroniche dalle quali emergono i fatti letterari cruciali, nella tensione costante fra canone e deviazione ‒ con il ritratto d’autore e l’analisi puntuale dei testi. Le sue riflessioni, l’immersione nelle opere cui danno adito a beneficio del lettore, hanno indiscutibilmente qualificato la vicenda critica dei personaggi di spicco nella letteratura contemporanea isolana, quali sono Grazia Deledda, Antioco Casula, Giuseppe Dessì e Salvatore Satta.
