Abstract

This works aims to consider the stylistic use of the nominal compounds in the carmina Latina epigraphica, in themselves and in the light of the contemporary high literature. These compounds are considered as they are distributed in the provinces and as they change in the time; so, the author is able to conclude sometimes they modify our knowledge of the literary compounds' use.
