Progettazione statica e dinamica di metamateriali reticolari: un approccio multiscala basato sull'omogeneizzazione

Abstract

I recenti sviluppi nell'Additive Manufacturing (AM) hanno reso le strutture reticolari, in particolare quelle basate sulle Triply Periodic Minimal Surfaces (TPMS), una soluzione promettente per molteplici applicazioni ingegneristiche. Tuttavia, la loro complessità geometrica comporta tempi computazionali estremamente elevati per l'analisi numerica. Questa ricerca propone un approccio multiscala basato sull’omogeneizzazione, che utilizza le proprietà della struttura studiate nella microscala per simularne il comportamento macroscopico. Successivamente, le zone a rischio cedimento vengono de-omogeneizzate, per calcolare le tensioni reali, permettendo la verifica dei target strutturali di progetto. Viene inoltre presentata una versione dinamica della metodologia per effettuare simulazioni di risposta in frequenza e a fatica. La comparazione dei risultati con quelli ottenuti su modelli full-scale validano l’efficacia del metodo.
