Arte pubblica nuove tecnologie e comunicazione

Abstract

Research on quality of '"inhabit public spaces" discusses what could be the role of the intervention of art and its consistency with the objectives of a more complex transformation, micro urban and territorial scale; this perspective leads to the interdisciplinary estension of design network of architects, technical experts, planners, landscape architects, artists, new media designers, media experts, sociologists and cultural mediators, experts of management services. The text examines the performative design scenarios between art and science, from the first trials of technological art in the '80s by Piero Gilardi to "Transphysical City" by Marcos Novak. The discussion concerns how to re-build meeting places, acting as joint training and In-flows of immaterial, but also increasing the socialization of individuals and social groups. The design scenarios of spatial forms and materials, as well as light, sound, energy, interactivity, is intended both to in-form and to create an emotion in the narrative of the facts of history and memory, which increases ability to communicate meanings. In specific cases to the subway stations, the focus is how to build a sense of place and function of walking with a more intense relationship with top-ground, anticipating uses and functions developed in sub-ground, noting the importance of design details, renewing the tradition '"ornate", "decoration" and "monument".
