This paper gives a synthetic overview of the most important cults of pre-Roman Macedonia and mainly focuses on the following topics: 1. cults apparently linked to age classes and social roles (including those which are specifically connected to the kingship and the court); 2. local and 'pan-Macedonian' cults; 3. Macedonian activities in the Panhellenic sanctuaries.
