Goal analysis is to understand, in the books of “relaciones de fiestas” that describe urban festivals in the city of Valencia during the 17th century, the relevance of theatre activity among the great number of visual/textual components of the Fest (Emblematic, Poetry, Sacred Oratory, Corographycal descriptions, etc.). A large and growing scenic activity into the urban Baroc festivals expand scenic practices over the textual components of the “relaciones de fiestas” books.
