Analisi delle prestazioni di individui con la sindrome di down e con sviluppo tipico nella forma colore delle Matrici di Raven

Abstract

Le Matrici Colore di Raven (Raven, Raven e Court, 1998) sono spesso utilizzate per valutare l’intelligenza non-verbale e il ragionamento. La prestazione viene valutata in riferimento al numero di risposte corrette, anche se crescente è l’interesse per l’analisi degli errori. L’obiettivo dello studio è stato quello di approfondire il significato degli errori nelle Matrici Colore confrontando la prestazione di individui con la sindrome di Down a individui con sviluppo tipico appaiati per età mentale. I dati mettono in luce un pattern di prestazione differenziato per i due gruppi, nonostante la prestazione totale sia comparabile. Questi risultati vengono discussi nell’ottica dei processi cognitivi coinvolti nella risoluzione dei problemi proposti nelle Matrici Colore.
