This paper aims to analyze the first theatrical work written by Sa'd Allah Wannus, al-Hayah Abadan, and the articles he published in 1961 on the pages of the Lebanese magazine al-Adab. These works bring to light a phase in intellectual formation that remains still unexplored and, in particular, highlight the influences of nationalist and existentialist thought during the very first phase of his intellectual and writing career.
