Abstract

Una casa dove l’arte, il cielo, la terra, e la gente possano incontrarsi: il progetto di Fausto Ferrara e Daniela Antonucci dello Studio Arckeo è stato selezionato per un museo statunitense nel prestigioso Art Omi Center, nello stato di New York. Sono italiane, quindi, le idee innovative per un nuovo spazio espositivo che si affianchi al parco delle sculture contemporanee, The Fields Sculpture Park. L’Art Omi Center è stato creato da Francis Greenburger, magnate statunitense, sull’esempio del parco museale tedesco Insel Hombroich, ed è ispirato dal principio che l’espressione artistica trascende ogni vincolo economico, politico e culturale. Nello scritto “Arte e spazio” Heidegger afferma: Di che cosa parla il linguaggio nella parola spazio?. Parla il fare- e lasciare-spazio. Fare-spazio è libera donazione di luoghi. La scultura sarebbe il farsi-corpo di luoghi che, aprendo una contrada e custodendola, tengono raccolto intorno a sé un che di libero che accorda una dimora a tutte le cose e agli uomini un abitare in mezzo alle cose. Lo stesso concetto di spazio viene sperimentato da Fausto Ferrara con la creazione di luoghi dentro altri luoghi, dove si può arrivare alla verità dell’essere, e con la sospensione di muri nel vuoto, slanciati nell’etere in contrasto con la forza di gravità.
