Abstract

... Delicado con una clara intención desde el principio de la obra, mediante una serie de elementos temáticos y formales, y junto con una lengua años luz del latín propugnado por los humanistas o del castellano más pulido, recrea un modo de expresión informe y ágil, tan suelto y tan bien merecido por el desparpajo de sus compañeras de reparto. Que sean ecos de aquella comedia humanística en vulgar que tanto aportó a La Celestina, o que se trate realmente de un vivo reflejo de lo que el autor escuchaba por las calles de Roma durante su estancia en la ciudad eterna, de lo que sí estamos seguros esde que la lengua en La Lozana andaluza constituye un punto de apoyo para la base interpretativa de la obra, un efecto más de ese juego paródico que ensalzó el mundo prostibulario al más alto e inesperado protagonismo para ridiculizar con ello a los ñoños sermones y tratados sobre mujeres perfectas y pías que tanto interesaron a los humanistas de la época.
