Abstract

Il contributo rilegge l'inventario dei beni di Bartolomeo Cavaceppi redatto al momento della sua morte nelle parti accessorie, fino ad oggi non considerate. L'analisi dell'arredamento della casa, della distribuzione delle opere ancora conservate negli ambienti di abitazione e della raccolta di libri, consente riflessioni inedite sul ruolo sociale del restauratore nel Settecento e sulla sua cultura.
