Nei test per l'ammissione ai vari corsi di laurea universitari compaiono spesso quesiti di logica. Purtroppo, in questo contesto la parola logica non ha un significato univoco; e non sempre le varie precisazioni presenti nella descrizione preliminare del test sono davvero d’aiuto. Cercheremo di inquadrare il discorso sia esaminando la struttura di vari test, sia ripercorrendo alcuni momenti rilevanti sul piano storico. Porremo particolare attenzione alle domande contenute nei test per l'ingresso a Medicina e Chirurgia, sia per la maggiore risonanza sociale di questo test, sia perché in alcuni anni (come il 2019) le domande di logica possono apparire davvero poco convincenti. Concluderemo con alcune considerazioni sulla stesura di un test, sempre con particolare attenzione alla logica.

Logic questions often appear in the tests for admission to the various university degree courses. Unfortunately, in such a context the word logic has an ambiguous meaning, and information in the preliminary description of the test is not always helpful to clarify what a logical question is. In this paper we will discuss the structure of different tests and examine several examples of logical questions; we will briefly consider also an historical perspective. In particular, we shall focus on questions taken from Medicine and Surgery admission test, both for the wide mediatic echo of such a test and because in some years (like 2019) logical questions may seem really inadequate. Finally we provide some suggestions on how to set up a question in a test, with special attention to logic.
