The essay is about the relationship between modern art and Etruscan visual culture. This is analyzed through the three central operational moments with which the relationship took shape, between the late eighteenth and mid-twentieth centuries: revival, copy and model. The essay is dedicated to the memory of Luciana Drago and to the study days spent together.
