The art of photography is an art, and at the same time a domain for scientific questions from various disciplines of science, which requires a multidisciplinary approach. In this work, we will try to describe the aesthetic and cognitive processes that come into play with the production of photographic images. This idea is expanded along with some theories, of which the content can be helpfully synthesised.
