Abstract

Il saggio illustra, nella prima parte, la teoria flaubertiana del dialogo alla luce delle testimonianze della "Correspondace" dell'autore. Successivamente, analizza i processi genetici che investono il formarsi delle sequenze dialogate nell'avantesto flaubertiano di "Madame Bovary", collocandosi in una prospettiva, quella genetica, che consente di riflettere su come avviene l'articolazione primaria dei frammenti di dialogo con le altre unità discorsive. Le riflessioni proposte sono suffragate da un corpus documentario che presenta carattere di autonomia e completezza essendo costituito dall'intera serie dei "plan" e "scénario" del romanzo, ovvero la fase genetica dedicata alla concezione dell'opera e alla prima selezione dei materiali narrativi oltre che alla loro reciproca articolazione.
