Abstract

La mente umana, nella pratica scientifica occidentale, ha assunto come prassi abituale il dividere, sezionare e schematizzare ciò che apparentemente si presenta come unico, totale ed olistico. Infatti tutto ciò che raggiunge i nostri sensi – e che in questa sede definiremo realtà – è inevitabilmente assunto e sussunto dal nostro sistema di reti neurali come dato unico, inequivocabile e necessariamente irripetibile. La gestione consapevole della mole di dati-informazioni provenienti dall’esterno implica però la perimetrazione del reale, con un duplice scopo: a) giustificare e legittimare il suo intervento nel flusso temporale dell’esistenza; b) selezionare e conservare solo quei dati che vengono di volta in volta considerati significativi. Quanto più la nostra mente perimetra il dato sensibile, tanto più crediamo di appropriarcene, di capirlo e conoscerlo.
