Abstract

Il contributo rintraccia per il tramite della linguistica cognitiva il debito artistico-letterario di D’annunzio nei confronti dell’orientalismo della confraternita preraffaellita. Beata Beatrix, Lady Lilith e Astarte Syriaca sono solo alcune delle doppie opere d’arte di stampo orientalista a firma di D.G. Rossetti che si proiettano in un raffinato blending concettuale nel macrotesto dannunziano. D’Annunzio si conferma un innovatore in grado di adattare la tradizione letteraria preraffaelita alla cultura italiana, creando parabole artistiche inimitabili che alterano la nostra percezione della realtà.
