Studies on Old Uyghur in 2017

Abstract

Old Uyghur, which is a branch of the historical Turkic language, has animportant place in research in Turkic languages. Old Uyghur, which containsmany texts related to the religious canon of Buddhism, Manichaism and Christianity,has been the subject of many studies such as books, journal articles, papers inproceedings and reviews on the basis of text editions, vocabulary andlinguistics analysis. Since Old Uyghur studies are written in diverse languagesand geographies, the bibliography studies are required in this field. From thispoint of view, the bibliography studies related to this field have always beenconsidered as an important reference source. In this paper, the studies on OldUyghur in 2017 are discussed. The aim of this paper is to make a bibliography attemptby bringing together bibliographical informations of books, journal articlesand reviews published in question year. These studies in this paper will begrouped under three titles: Books, articles and reviews.

TarihiTürk dilinin bir kolu olan Eski Uygurca Türk dili araştırmalarında önemli biryere sahiptir. Budizmin, Manihaizmin ve Hristiyanlığın dinî külliyatına ilişkinbirçok metni ihtiva eden Eski Uygurca metin neşri, söz varlığı ve dil bilgisihususiyetleri temelinde kitap, makale, tebliğ ve tanıtma türünden birçokçalışmanın konusunu oluşturmuştur. Eski Uygurca çalışmalarının farklı dillerdeve coğrafyalarda kaleme alınması ise bibliyografya çalışmalarını gereklikılmıştır. Bu bakımdan bu alana ilişkin bibliyografya çalışmaları her defasındaönemli bir başvuru kaynağı olarak değerlendirilmiştir. Bu çalışmada 2017yılında Eski Uygurca üzerine yapılan çalışmalar ele alınmaktadır. Bu çalışmanınamacı mevzubahis yılda yayımlanan kitap, makale ve tanıtma türündençalışmaların bibliyografik künyelerinin bir araya getirilmesi yoluyla birbibliyografya denemesi yapmaktır. Bu yazı kitaplar,makaleler ve tanıtmalar olmak üzere üç başlıktan oluşacaktır.
