Sinodalidad en la Iglesia actual

Abstract

The entire People of God is challenged by its fundamentally synodal calling. At the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the institution of the Synod of Bishops by Paul VI, Pope Francis made this programmatic commitment: “It is precisely this path of synodality wich God expects of the Church of the third millennium”. This study is meant to offer some guidelines for going deeper into the theological sense and pastoral orientations that synodality implies for the Church’s misión. The author examines the 2015 speech on Synodality and the apostlic exhortation Evangelii gaudium of Pope Francis. Through synodality, the Church reveals and configure herself as the pilgrim People of God and as the assembly convoked by the risen Lord. A synodal Church is a Church of participation and co-responsability.
