Este ensayo recoge todos los textos que, repartidos en la entera obra de Tertuliano, contienen la expresión "manus Dei", modeladoras de la carne de Adán. Con ello se constata que las manos de Dios son un elemento argumental para la construcción del sistema antropológico del cartaginés. Esta obra, además, presenta nuevamente una aproximación al entramado de la antropología del africano. El ensayo ha sido reseñado en Revista Española de Teología y en la Chronica Tertullianea et Cyprianea.
