Denizli şehir florası

Abstract

The flora of the City of Denizli was reported in this thesis. Throughout the city of Denizli, 823 specimens were collected from 2010 to 2014. Among specimens collected, 113 family, 457 genera, and 667 species were identified. Total numbers of taxa were 675. Number of endemic taxa identified was 12 (%1,77). Three species were belong to Pteridophyta while the remaining ones (672) to Spermatophyta. Within the Spermatophyta division, 21 species were Gymnospermae and 651 were Angiospermae subdivisions. Within the Angiospermae subdivision, 539 species were Dicotyledonopsida whereas 112 species were belonging to Monocotyledonopsida. In terms of phtogeographic regions of species identified, 160 (%23,8) were belongs to Mediterranean, 28 (%4,1) to Euro-Siberian, 16 (%2,3) to Irano-Turanian elements while 469 (%69,8) were either poly regional or species whose phytogeographic regions are still unknown. Asteraceae (58 taxa) was the largest family and Allium (9 taxa) was the biggest genera.
