Known alloys, coatings and laminated composites cannot meet the demand of material exigency that has special character with modern technology. Especially, in spacecrafts and applications exposed to high heat, absence of a homogeneous material that supply properties of having high thermal resistance, high strength and durable to thermal shocks has caused going towards material combinations that have all these properties, that is Functional Graded Material (FGM) technology. In this study, behaviors of graded laminated discs exposed to thermal load by the method of numeric and analytic analysis have been investigated. FGM structured disc has been investigated by these all methods in identical thermal load and boundary conditions and the results were compared.
Modern teknoloji ile artan özel karakterlere sahip malzeme ihtiyacını, bilinen alaşımlar, kaplamalar ve kompozitler karşılayamaz hale gelmiştir. Özellikle uzay taşıtlarında ve yüksek ısıya maruz uygulamalarda gereksinim duyulan, yüksek mukavemet ve termal şoklara dayanıklı, yüksek ısıl dirence sahip olma özelliklerini sağlayan homojen bir malzeme olmaması, bu özellikleri bir arada bulunduran malzeme kombinasyonlarına yani Fonksiyonel Derecelendirilmiş Malzeme (FDM) teknolojisine yönelmeye sebep olmuştur.Bu çalışmada fonksiyonel derecelendirilmiş disklerin termal yük altındaki davranışları analitik ve nümerik analiz yöntemiyle incelenmiştir. FDM disk her iki yöntem ile aynı termal yük ve sınır koşullarında incelenerek sonuçlar karşılaştırılmıştır.
