Authors: Akdeniz, Metin;

Tabinin mecmua-i eşarı (inceleme-metin)

Abstract

The work essential to our thesis is a manuscipt having characteristics of po-etry anthology in National Library of Izmir, which is in number 1628 and regis-tered with the name ‘mecmû’a-i eş’ar’. We gave information about the concept of the anthology in the introductory chapter. In the first part, we introduced the work in terms of its content (poet staff, poetic forms, meters and titles) and exterior features. In the second part, having given information based on the poetry an-thology about life and poems of Tab’i, who arranged this anthology at 18th centu-ry, we made an examination of his ghazals’ style. In the third part, the transcript of the poetry anthology takes place. Also, in this part, the poems in the work were compared with those in the diwans of their respective poets, and the differences between them were shown in the footnotes.
