Arapçada Ortak Kullanılan Sarf Vezinleri

Abstract

Ishtiqaq word derivation is undoubtedly one of the important features of Arabic. The topic of iştikak is examined in the morphology part of Arabic grammar. Arabic grammar is divided into two parts as sarf and nahw. In the field of sarf, word knowledge morphology is dealt with whereas in the field of nahw sentence structure syntax is studied. In teaching the Arabic language, sarf is just as important as nahw. In Arabic, both sarf measures and their meanings are given great importance. The concept of the common use of certain sarf measures in Arabic is frequently encountered both in religious texts and in Arabic poetry and proverbs at the age of ignorance. There are some reasons for the common use of sarf measures. The most important of these are the changes in the letters and movements required by the rules of i‘lâl converting illat letters to each other and idgham making two consecutive letters of the same genre one letter and reading them twice . Context and karînes clues are decisive in understanding which meaning is meant by the common use of sarf measures. In this study, sarf measures that are commonly used, the reasons for it and opinions of grammarians on this subject will be examined along with the examples from Qur-an verses and Arabic poetry and proverbs at the age of ignorance.
