Wisdom is such a concept that can be observed both in everyday life and investigations of philosophy. In everyday life we mostly attribute it meanings such as curts, proverbs and poems related to morals and real world which is identical with sufistic usage: incidence of statements and behaviour with the aims of God. Moral principles of life, things to do and things not to do are emphasized even in everyday life usage of wisdom. Wisdom pointing out both the theorical and practical dimensions of life is the dominant concept in Islamic schools of thought. In this study the aim is to find out the definitions of wisdom, the features one has to have so as to get wisdom, and the relationship between wisdom and intelligence within Mesnevi, Fihi Mafih and Mecalis-i Seba. Mevlana uses wisdom with the meanings of mystery, the aims of God that are not informed about and can not be understood by humanbeings. In addition to these meanings according to Rumi's wisdom is universal understanding, philosophy. In order to get wisdom one must be wise and man of heart. Intelligence has a positive but restricted role while getting wisdom.
