Eski Mezopotamya insanının dini inanışlarına dair unsurların incelenmesi ve elde edilen bilgiler ışığında dinin eski Mezopotamya kavimleri üzerindeki etkisi görülmüştür. Çok tanrılı bir inanç sistemine sahip olan Mezopotamya kavimleri ibadet ve dini yaşamlarını ona göre şekillendirmişlerdir. The effects of religion on the ancient Mesopotamian tribes were observed in the light of the information obtained from the study of the elements of the religious beliefs of the ancient Mesopotamian people. Mesopotamian tribes, having a polytheistic belief system, shaped their worship and religious life accordingly.
