Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Cumhuriyet’ten günümüze sanat tarihi eğitiminde yaşanan değişiklikler, üniversitelerde ve ortaöğretim kurumlarında olmak üzere belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Türkiye’de sanat tarihi biliminin ve eğitiminin ortaya çıkışı tarihi süreç içinde incelenmiştir. Öncelikle sanat tarihi ile ilgili ilk çalışmaların neler olduğu belirlenmiş ve yükseköğretim kurumlarında açılan sanat tarihi bölümleri belirtilmiştir. Daha sonra ortaöğretimde sanat tarihi derslerinin müfredat programlarına alınışı ve yapılan değişiklikler sunulmuştur

In this article, we have tried to determine the changes occurred in the area of art history education at the university and secondary education level. In this framework, the rise of history of art and its education in Turkey have been analyzed in an historical process. First, the initial history of art related works and history of art departments opened in undergraduate institutions have been indicated. Then, the inclusion of history of art lessons to secondary education programs and the changes these underwent have been exposed
