Abstract

Makalenin konusu Hıristiyanlık öncesi Ermeni inançlarından tanrılar panteonudur. Konu erken Ermeni kaynaklarından hareketle ele alınmıştır. Erken Ermeni kaynakları Ermenilerin Hıristiyanlığı kabulleri sonrasına dayanmaktadır ve V. Yüzyıla tarihlendirilen eserlerdir. Bunların başlıcaları H’orenatsi ve Agat’angeğos’un tarihleridir. Bu çalışmada amaç erken Ermeni kaynaklarının dağınık şekilde verdikleri bilgilerden hareketle Hıristiyanlık öncesi Ermenilerde tanrılara ilişkin öznel bir metin oluşturmaktır. Putperest Ermeni tanrılarının bir panteon oluşturduğu ve panteonda Tanrıların babası Aramazd’ın en etkin olduğu, Ermenilerin başta İran olmak üzere çevre kültürlerden etkilendiği, tanrılara ait kültün Erzincan, Muş ve Erivan çevresinde diğer yerlere göre daha baskın olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.
