Türkiye`nin Akdeniz ve Ege denizi kıyılarında dağılım gösteren Acteonidae, Ringiculidae, Haminoeidae ve Cylichnidae (Opisthobranchia:Mollusca) türleri

Abstract

This study was performed in order to determine the distribution of Acteonidae, Ringiculidae, Haminoeidae and Cylichnidae (Opisthobranchia: Mollusca) species distributed along the Turkish Levantine and Aegean coasts. Samples were taken from different depths (0-875 m) and biotopes in 86 stations during the expeditions between 1998 and 2011 to the Levantine and Aegean coasts of Turkey. As a result of examination of the material, 10 genera, 12 species (Acteon tornatilis, Japonacteon pusillus, Ringicula auriculata, Ringicula conformis, Haminoea hydatis, Atys jeffreysi, Atys angustatus, Weinkauffia turgidula, Cylichna cylindracea, Acteocina mucronata, Roxania utriculus ve Scaphander lignarius) and 377 specimens of these species belonging to Acteonidae, Ringiculidae, Haminoeidae ve Cylichnidae were found. Among the species Scaphander lignarius was found along the Aegean coast only, whereas Atys angustatus and Acteocina mucronata, which are alien species entered the Mediterranean recently, were found along the Turkish Levantine coast only. However, Roxania utriculus and Cylichna cylindracea are being here reported for the first time to the Turkish Levantine coast.Furthermore, in order to determine the distribution and the ecological features of the species encountered during this study, various statistical analyses were also performed, and the results of these analyses were presented with graphs.
