Arap Kaynaklarında Timur

Abstract

Although sources about Tamerlane were written in Persian language, contemporary Arabic sources contain important information about him. in this paper Tamerlane‘s description according to Arab historians is given. Books of the historians who met Tamerlane and Tamerlane‘s contemporary historians are used in order to describe him better in terms of his birth, appearance, personality, daily life and so forth.
