MAHLÂSNÂME VE KASİDE İLİŞKİSİ ÜZERİNE BİR MUKAYESE

Abstract

A piece of verse written by other poets or teacher to praise for beginners in Turkish Classical poetry called "Mahlasname" (nickname). A piece of verse which are written in the form of Qaside in the Divan poetry is different from Qaside in terms of shape and content. In this article the relation between Qaside and Mahlasname will be evaluated in the light of the mahlasnames which were written by Hodja Neş'et who is one of the best representatives of the XVIII. Century Mahlasname
