Futsal feminino e educação : o que a experiência ensina?

Abstract

This work is linked to Practices and Formative Processes in Education research line, from Education Postgraduate Program of Sciences and Technology Faculty, at Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), Presidente Prudente Campus, Sao Paulo state, Brazil. Supported by John Dewey and Larossa-Bondia contributions, this study works with the understanding that life is a learning process in which humans constantly suffer and make experiences. Each experience, particular to each person, is something that brings within formative or transformation skills. Every time an experience is reflexive and drives the individual attempt to which comes before and after this process, identifying relations, continuities and acquiring knowledge, it is an educative experience. Educative experiences can happen in many life spheres, including sportive practice. In Brazil soccer is the most proeminent sport in population social lives. Its presence in Brazilians everyday is so striking and undeniable that soccer is a sociocultural phenomenon through which it is possible to understand better the society itself. However, men have more access and opportunities on soccer than women: boys, since they are pretty small, soon get a ball to play and learn how to kick, which ultimately legitimize soccer as a male universe. For women who decide to venture into soccer´s world it uses to incur an amount of doubts and prejudices related to their femininities and sexualities. This study aimed to describe and analyze educative experiences of practitioners of a specific form of soccer, female futsal, namely soccer played indoor. To this purpose, it was carried out an ethnographic study, collecting data through participant observation and semi-structured interwiews with athletes from a female futsal college team from a city called in Sao Paulo state... Esta dissertação está vinculada à linha de pesquisa “Práticas e Processos Formativos em Educação”, do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação da Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), campus de Presidente Prudente – SP. Amparada em John Dewey e Larossa-Bondía, parte do entendimento de que a vida é um processo de aprendizagem, no qual os seres humanos estão constantemente sofrendo e fazendo experiências. Cada experiência, particular a cada sujeito, traz em si a capacidade de formação ou de transformação. Quando a experiência é reflexiva, isto é, quando o indivíduo atenta ao antes e ao depois do processo, percebendo relações e continuidades e adquirindo conhecimentos, ocorre uma experiência educativa. Experiências educativas podem ocorrer nas mais diversas esferas da vida, dentre elas, na prática esportiva. No Brasil, o futebol é o esporte que ocupa maior destaque e constitui um fenômeno sociocultural por meio do qual é possível compreender melhor a própria sociedade. Porém, homens têm mais acesso e oportunidades frente ao futebol do que as mulheres, o que acaba por legitimá-lo como um universo masculino. Já sobre as mulheres que se aventuram no universo futebolístico incidem preconceitos relacionados às suas feminilidades e sexualidades. Este trabalho objetivou descrever e analisar as experiências educativas de praticantes de futsal feminino, a saber, o futebol jogado em quadra. Para tal, realizou-se um estudo etnográfico, cujos dados foram gerados por meio de observação participante e entrevistas semi-estruturadas com atletas de futsal de uma equipe universitária do interior do estado de São Paulo.
