Lutas X artes marciais e currículo: combates e debates na BNCC

Abstract

The content of Combat Sports Modalities and Martial Arts, despite being part of Brazilian curriculum for some time, is still considered taboo among many of the Physical Education Teachers at School. Thus, research that seeks to understand the relationship established between curriculum, school and the theme is extremely important, in order to find concrete actions that contribute to teaching that practice at school. Therefore, the present research aims to analyze what the extent of Combat Sports is proposed by the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) for Elementary Education, contrasting it with the concept and practice about Martial Arts and Combat Sports Modalities. In order to carry out this Documentary Research, BNCC will be investigated, as the primary source of data, and the Content Analysis methodology will be used for data analysis, thus constituting a qualitative research.
